photo session with the russo family

I can’t believe how big this little boy has grown, especially since it wasn’t too long ago I met him in his beautiful home in Coquitlam. It’s been a year and a half since his newborn baby photo session and now he is this little boy that is full of infectious laughter and has the energy […]

make a memory with your children

I love this poem. It sums up my view on motherhood. Make a memory with your children, Spend some time to show you care; Toys and trinkets can’t replace those Precious moments that you share. Money doesn’t buy real pleasure, It doesn’t matter where you live; Children need your own attention, Something only you can […]

Experiential Christmas Advent Calendar

I often wonder what childhood stories my children will tell when they are older. What fun things have we done to reminisce about? What events have we experienced together that enriches their childhood and our ‘familyness’. What photos will we have to experience those moments again? This Christmas, I want our lives to be filled with […]

oh this sounds like so much fun! I can’t wait to hear more about your christmas adventures.
And I’m getting excited just thinking about doing these things with my little guy in a few years (some we can do now.. but a lot he will enjoy more when he’s a bit older!). I can’t wait to start this tradition!!

Jenn -

Your printables are absoutely gorgeous! We’ve done an experiential advent calendar the last couple years and this year we’re doing one that’s a different craft each day. I’ll let you know how it goes. 🙂

Karina Eva -

This is a great idea! Where do I get that cute little tree with doors, my daughter will love it if we do this, I might just try to pull of the 24 days starting this Saturday, picture and crafts with Santa and Ms Clause, I am really excited to spend this time with my kids. I certainly enjoy being a mom 🙂

amy -

That’s great Justine! I really don’t think Elle would remember many of these activities either which is why it’s so important to have photos so we could tell them about it.

amy -

Oooo, a Crafty Advent Calendar! What a great idea!

amy -

Karina, I got the tree from Superstore for $19. I know Ikea has an advent calendar too and theirs use slide out boxes instead of doors. Have fun with the activities! Let me know how it goes =)

Hi Michelle! I tested it and it works…I wonder if it has something to do with your browser. To make it easier for you, I added you to the list so you should get a confirmation email very soon =) Let me know if you need more assistance.

Jaime Kamel -

I still can’t get the email to work. I haven’t received anything. Not a big deal. I can create the cards myself. Thanks for posting them though. Wish I could buy that adorable advent tree though. I don’t think we have one of those stores around here. 🙁

Amy Lee -

Hi Jaime! Sorry about the email. I wonder if it got caught in your spam filter. I could send you the pdf if I have your email address. Would that work for you?

Vancouver Christmas Market -

Thank you so much for taking the time to let your readers know about the VCM. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing all the wonderful families coming to this year’s market. Best part of it all…is watching the children smile as they ride the carousel.

See you and your family there this year!

the recipe for a good life is simple

I find children wear their emotions on their faces. That is a gift and it is one that disappears as we grow older. We let our worries take over our smiles. We […]
