This Valentine’s Day, I’m doing a lot of things for Elle to make her feel special and loved.
These cute origami hearts is one of them and they’ll be hiding all over the house for the little girl to discover. Each heart contains a sweet little message to let her know how I feel about her =)
How To Make An Origami Heart (with printables)
This little paper heart is super easy to fold.
First, I used a strip of paper cut to 4 1/2″ x 2 1/4″. You can use any pretty paper or even wrapping paper. If you like the ones I used, you can download it for FREE. Here’s the pink hearts and here’s the polka dot hearts.
Next, I wrote a message on the back of the paper. Since the little girl is still learning the alphabet, I have to use a combination of words she knows and simple drawings to get the message across.
Next is the fun part and I made a video for you to follow along.
Isn’t this fun? Make a whole bunch for your loved ones and watch their excitement as they find and discover the message inside =)
Aside from these hearts to make Elle feel special this Valentine’s, I’ll also be making a salt dough necklace for her since she loves to accessorize, making some heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and writing her a letter to put in her year end Blurb photo book (which is on sale now with a 15% off discount).
How about you? What fun things will you be doing this Valentines?
