the portrait project {week 4}

A portrait of my children…because photos should been seen and shared.

jay’s (and i’s) portrait – a selfie

This is how our relationship is.

Full of love.

This is exactly how I hold him – always.
This is exactly how I kiss him – all the time.
This is exactly how he holds onto me – most of the time.

I chose to do a selfie this week because this is how I want him to remember us.

The way I hold him.
The way I kiss him.
The way I love him.

My beautiful little girl is growing bigger and bigger everyday. Sometimes I still can’t believe I’m a mother to a 3 year old.

Since our lives are so busy, I have to make a point to connect with her every day. Whether it’s talking about our day before bedtime or making time to do a craft with her, this is how she know she is loved.

This girl loves to paint. Lucky for her, this month’s Kiwi Crate theme is Modern Art so we get to paint a Mondrian inspired painting. She can’t quite colour within the box yet, but that’s just my little girl. She can’t be boxed in. She needs space to explore and find her own way.

ps – It’s nice to finally have some images of my son and I together since that’s what I do for other mom’s professionally.

pps- Have you downloaded my ebook to get yourself in pictures with your kids yet? Sign up box is on the side bar titled ‘How To Take A Selfie With Your Children’

pps – I had no idea my hair is this long! Now I’m thinking of letting it grown and donating it. Do you have any experience with this?
