A portrait (or a few) of my children…because photos should been seen and shared.
Tuesday is perhaps one of my favourite days besides Friday which is our family day. It’s a day where I date my daughter and we call it ‘Ellie and Mommy Day’.
We usually start our day with a smoothie since it’s too much of a rush to make a proper breakfast. We then rush to drop Jay off at his Grandma’s house (hi grandma, thanks for babysitting!), then head to a local bakery for a little kids baking class.
At every baking class, the kids make 2 yummy things. They start off with baking cookies or using pizza dough to make calzones or some dough thing. While that’s being baked, they get to decorate a cupcake or a couple cookies. I have to keep a really close eye when she’s doing any decorating since she uses the cookie/cupcake as a vehicle for icing (smart girl).
When I ask her what her favourite thing is about this cookie, her answer is ‘the icing’. Of course.

Again, I can’t do just 1. He’s so darn cute =)
Since Summer is over and we’ve been getting quite a bit of rain (we’re in Vancouver, aka ‘wetcoast’), when the sun finally shines and the grass is dry (enough), we capitalized on the opportunity to spend time outside.
This little boy has been army crawling for about a month now and he’s starting to pick his bum up to crawl on all fours. Still needs some practice but he’s well on his way.
I tried to get shots of him not facing me but where ever I put him, he’d turn himself around and crawl as fast as he can towards me…such a Momma’s boy (and I’m totally loving it).
If you’re from Vancouver and want your children to play in the rain, you can win a Muddy Buddy from Baby Duck Club.
